When I first read The Giver I assure the book was kind of strange and I wasnt incontestible how the book would relate to what we have discussed in class the approach weeks. To be honest I ideal the book was sure strange because of the variant impressions it had in it such as the way of life the community had to live by a book of rules or how they got their life-long assignments at the get along of twelve. One of the parts that stood out to me go reading the book was when Jonas and his baby came home from school and they were at the dinner table talking about their day with their parents. Jonas sister was telling a story about how a kidskin from another group was playing on the playground and not following the rules correctly. Jonas parents asked Jonas and his sister why they thought he wasnt obeying the rules and they came to the conclusion that he didnt whap either better.
